There was once a DEVIL KINGDOM located in the end of the world and was believed by ordinary people to be just a myth. The people in this kingdom were called "D". Bunch of trees with plenty of devil fruits were bartered with the PLUTON. The trade was nice. Upon getting the trees, bunch of scientist of the government quickly studied the fruits that can make extra ordinary power to someone who ate the fruit. After knowing that fateful incident, the government was threatened. Realizing how powerful all "D"s combined with special powers above all humankind. Their presence was threatening. They concluded that "Devil Kingdom" should be destroyed. They gathered all their weapons from around the world. The "D" people arent aware of the forthcoming war. A night before, the kingdom had a celebration because the Queen had gave birth to the new Prince. They spent the whole night celebrating. They all got drunk and while they were all asleep, their kingdom was surprisingly attacked. The trees were first burned one by one. The kingdom was destroyed. None of them survived except for the king who was greatly injured fighting for their kingdom. The king manages to escaped with his first born son. He took the pluton along with his son. They ended first to a town in the grandline. He left his son in a family in the Loguetown. He then continued to circle the world. He manages to plant other trees to every part of the world hoping that someday his son would find them later. He utterly destroyed half of the world using the Pluton. He left symbols and markings. In the middle of the ocean, he was cornered by the government marines. He did not surrendered but instead he gave a big GRINNED to the Marines before he died realizing that the Will of "D" cannot die. And the "D" history was never ever became known to all after that tragic incident. The Government prohibited anyone to discussed that history.

mate, u know that theres plenty of mistakes in this? cuz doctor vegapunk is the dude that made the devil fruits, and lots of more that i dont remeber, but in all its a good idea. but think its was like a war between many countries and the world goverment won and the other countries was destroyed but they left a lot of stones bihind telling everything and then they was destroyed. But there was some one that survived and they cary the name D (monkey D. luffy, monkey D. dragon, Gold D. roger, and so on.
