Umm.. I recently read
The Diary of Pelly D, which is a very enjoyable book for teenagers I believe. I haven't read Twilight yet, but I heard many good things of it. I hope this recommendation would suit your taste.

oh yeah and there is a little romance, but definitely nothing hardcore. This is more like PG-13 book.
