 Membership Increase?
I was a bit surprised to see the new block when I tried to read a manga a friend had suggested, but it did prompt me to finally stop lurking on this website and actually create an account. Perhaps this could end up encouraging more people to become more active on the site.
As a side note, I found it a pleasant surprise to see the degree of responsibility the admin here is assuming in regards to the distribution of stuff with mature content. Most sites have a warning that informs people not to continue reading if they are not over 18, but that does leave them open to risk if a person ignores the warning (as most people do). Liability-wise, I think Mangafox would be covered if they did just limit it to a warning without providing the block, but it is nice to see someone not just settling for enough to prevent a lawsuit. |
