I agree with kcal9 about Saiunkoku Monogatari. Fushigi Yuugi was tolerable. I found Miaka to be one the most annoying characters I've ever seen though. After looking through my MAL list, I've seen a lot of shoujo anime. But there were only a few that stood out among them...
