lol i'm used to writing whole essays...5 years in highschool with more than 3 art classes each year and some kind of paragraph to write explaining and critiquing art does that to ppl. >_>"
lol i use the same kind of pens too!^^ XD tho i think i like the oil based markers, ones that don't dissolve or smudge... reminds me that i gotta buy some more of those. well, the most that i want out of the pens is that it doesnt leak or smudge/dissolve... well dissolve only when i'm doing a wash of a sort. then i might use india ink and a pen, even tho it's harder to control, but it makes nice textures. sharpies are really good as they can bleed. i use pentel hybrid technica black gel pens for thin lines and just all around outlining but i also use paper mate thin fine liners, but those smudge and dissolve, so i usually replace that with the oil based markers. and that would be a japanese product...and i can't tell you the brand..it didnt say. i find calligraphy pens to be nice to use from time to time as you can change the tip to different patterns. the uni-ball deluxe micro is really great for thin lines too (its thinner than the pentel one) and dries faster.
