My first console was a GameBoy Advance that I got for my sixth birthday. I wanted a GameBoy Color, like the ones the kids at school had, but the GBA was just released really recenty, and my mom wanted me to have that kind instead. I still have that GBA around here somewhere... Although lately I've been playing more on my Nintendo DS Lite. (Not that I have any DS games; I mainly play GBA games on it.)
My first non-portable console was an NES that belonged to my (much) older sisters. It was awesome, but then, it just broke for no real reason.
