I mean, I basically treat Hiyo like a walking battery at this point. It's the only way I can explain to myself how Kurou seems to be able to level up so frequently. X_X
Marilyn and Miyako (Kurou's mom) seem to be in a whole different league power wise compared to most monsters and people are frightened of them. |

i think miyako and marilyn are alike in that they can choose demon king candidates. If you remember kurous mom new he was the demon king candidate and acted like she didn't care. I think they think it's sort of like a game to them.
marilyn chose A, but had to use L's body. And apparently hiyo is like the power boost i guess...
b/c A sucked her blood and didn't become the demon king...so there must be something more to it.
and on the other hand kurou has not sucked her blood yet seems a lot more ....wild...i guess.
