| So here's a thread of my pictures!! *fireworks* In case anybody's wondering, I have and will probably continue to go around giving critiques to people's art that they've posted, because criticism is usually helpful. If you want me to shut up or not comment, just tell me so and I'll stop. I talk and critique like I'm some kind of master or guru, but I'm not... Sometimes I even fail at following my own advice... But the advice itself is pretty good, it's helped lots of people before. Including me ^_^; Anyway, here's the one, sad, lonely little picture that has made it through my scanner thus far:Poor lonely little picture.... I will bring you some friends as soon as I can.... I know the pencil's kinda rough, but meh. Comments and critiques (and even total shredding) are much appreciated!

| Hi! Thanks for giving out the critiques. On my pictures you mentioned that my hands were too small, so I'm taking that into consideration when I draw now. You're drawing is nice! I like her dress and character design. Plus the umbrella looks great. The thing that stands out most to me flaws wise, is her chest. It's not perky enough--almost sagging. Which makes her seem a bit older. It also feels like she's slouching, and the picture is slightly slanting. If she's leaning on the umbrella, it needs to touch the ground, if she's just holding it she needs to stay straight. I get the slanting picture a lot. One thing that helps is to find the center of the paper and lightly draw a straight line using a ruler. Keep critiquing drawings! Mindless praise is nice, but I prefer when people help me. |

EDIT: Here's an essential tip to drawing: While still working on your picture, hold it up to a mirror or turn it around and hold towards the light. It'll show off flaw you can't see while drawing normally, and show of anything unsymmetrical. I love that there's such an awesome way to check flaws! |

| Very nice, i really like how your doing the textures . THe only crituiqe ive got is the face, the eyes arnt centered and look kinda vacent, but that will get much better with a little pratice. Keep it up!

| The eyes aren't supposed to be centered, the head's at an angle I'll keep an eye on that though. I like my textures too XD Yeah, I know she's at an angle, but I kind of wanted her that way... not quite sure why now that the picture's done... but I know that things tend to lean even when I am trying to draw them straight, so I use action lines drawn when the paper's upright, not slanted like it usually is when I'm drawing or writing. She's definitely not leaning on the umbrella/parasol thing, it would dent it or something ;_; I'll keep an eye on the chest too (anatomy's not my strongest point, I'm still sort of just guessing where some things go, which I should definitely work... I've got some kind of anatomy diagram/proportion worksheet somewhere that has realistic proportions and placements, so I'll probably use that. And expressions are still on the way... I finally got out of the rut of ten thousand dead straight faces, but eyes are a paaaaaaaaiiiin. The best facial expressions (if not face shapes) I've ever seen are in Skip Beat so I'll look back at some of those chapters... and at some people's actual faces, maybe :P And I never heard of the picture in the mirror thing before. I'll try that. Most of my picture's are in some kind of journal, so holding them up to the light could be... complicated. But the mirror would be difficult because I'm near-sighted... meh. I'll figure something out. Thanks for the advice! I'll probably put up something a bit older next time, so it probably won't be as good, but I don't have as much time to draw as I would like. Thus, not many new pictures. That, and I'm ADD (or so I hope... I don't want to know what else it could be) so I have phases: DRAW DRAW DRAW for like a week..... blaaaaaah for like a month or five. So keeping up relatively steady practice is about as much as I can force myself to do until inspiration strikes. I really need to learn when to stop talking.... yet another monstrosity of a post is unleashed!!! *clicks the mouse with an arm stretched to its limit, then runs away for dear life!!*

| Yeah, Ive basicly reverted to drawing girls with hair in frount of there faces, i keep telling myself its because im trying to practice the hair. I know drawing a face tilited is hard (way beyond my abilites right now) but the eyes look strange like there at a different angle then the rest of the head. Im really bad at faces personally, the faces always look just dead or worse boring...

| Eheheh... I haven't been drawing much lately, so I'll post some reeeally old stuff now. Most of this is from middle school.... So don't judge my current ability by these, thanks ^_^; This is a picture I drew from the first manga I ever read, Desert Coral. It sucks. Don't read it. ![]() Wah!! My eyes!! They burn!! On to the next one: This is from when I was Neopets crazy with all the other little teenyboppers: ![]() My precious shoyru... I think her name was dragon_skystar... I put her up for adoption, I wonder if she's still alive... Here's a random little person I drew. A like the swirly thing the most, and yes, I know one of the legs is too long: ![]() I will continue more in another post!!

| More random doodles from who knows when!! *Herald trumpeters start tooting out old Nintendo themes* That's more like it! Okay, so what's this one... Oh! It has a date!! 7/16/06... what I imagined I would look like if I were a Naruto character, I believe... ![]() Heh... I blurred out my signatures 'cause they've got other names of mine ![]() I'm a super spy, my identity must remain hidden!!! None of them are my real names though... just usernames and nicknames. So you will NEVER reveal my TRUE face!!! Muahaha!! This is a funny little dragon thing I drew cause I felt like it. My friends told me it was a wyvern... I honestly have no idea, I'm just happy it turned out this good because I drew it with a pen... this one's not as old, by the way: ![]() Yet more on the way!! (I should really stop...)

| This is about the only fanart I've ever done, and it's not even of a character, it's of the author... ![]() Can you tell who it is??? It's Takaya-sensei from Furuba!!! I actually have other pictures that I scanned, but the forum wouldn't let me post them all in one post, so I cut some of the text and images to put in this post and then accidentally copied over it... oops... and I really don't want to type it all over again right now, so I'll just stop here. Critique and comments are always appreciated, but remember, these things are old....
