This is better than most anime work I could do at this time, since my focus is now more realistic artwork. I greatly appreciate artists who can still draw like this! Maybe then I would actually finish my manga... My only critiques are that you would probably be able to see a little bit of her other shoulder and that strange triangle thing by her hair is a little distracting. However, I only notice these things because I have a critical eye and I probably wouldn't mention it if you weren't as good as you are. And I only critical things so that you can continue to improve. And I really hope you didn't copy this or something. It doesn't look like it, though. Is this from a particular manga?I really like the shading on the eyes. It looks like a real manga!! I also like that you use crosshatching. Not enough people use that, I think. It takes a greater degree of skill, in my opinion, to give the impression of curves with line. That's how I do my portraits when they're in pencil. Keep up the good work and welcome to the forum!! Rin-chan

First off, I want to give both of you a big thank you. Im really happy that someone appreciated my work and did a comment on it. @rinchan: Sorry to disappoint you but I didnt use tablet. I manually draw her, scan her and clean her at photoshop. And about the triangle thingy, its just part of the background I put. And that triangle is actually Renga's symbolism. And lastly, I was inspired by one of Nana fuku's works. So, I honestly tried to draw like her but I only did once. I was trying to practice some of the things I learn from a japanese friend of mine, who is also an artist. Hope that helps you? Anyways, you can also check my other works here.

| Ahhh, okay. I knew you used a computer for parts And it makes more sense if that triangle is her symbol, but it's still a little distracting being so close to her. But, then again, I don't know who Renga is.And, yeah, it helps me. I'm definitely going to check out your website!Rin-chan |

![]() My only comment is that you could work on your coloring techniques. Try coloring in small circles instead of lines. That way, the drawing is more fluid and the colored pencil will fill in more white spots. Also, you can throw in other colors to shade with, not just a darker blue for a blue dress. For example, I would use purple, dark red, or a dark green for the shadows on something blue. Also, I know skin colors are hard, but you can use peach for the middle tone and leave some spots lighter (not white, but not as heavy) and use a light or medium brown for the shadows. You could also make the figure darker than the background so the viewer's eye is directed at the figure.Other than that, your pencil drawings were great and I know you will improve. You have a lot of talent!! ![]() Rin-chan

@kagetora01: Oh! You did?! *bows down* Thank you so much for visiting my page and giving love remarks on my works. I feel so proud of them! And! Dont forget that anyone can draw. Anyone can learn how, and enhance them as they grow... If that person really wants to, that is... ![]() @chiharu-chan: Wow, now thats a nice artwork. I envy you because you can at least draw her body and fill out the background w/out leaving a blank space. Just practice more.
