another series you might try would be the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson.
Also try The Naming, The Riddle, and The Crow. they are all seperate books by Alison Croggon

... yeah, i read too muchh in general... i'll probably end up posting more ideas.
Thank you for your recommendations!
I'll be sure to check Tamora's novels next time I go to a bookstore!

Hmm, well I'll suggest this series since is adventure and somewhat else, it offers quite a bit
The Kushiel Series by Jacqueline Carey, the first book is Kushiel's Dart so start with that one, and prepare for a ride. I hope ur umm old enough and open minded enough, that's all.

Heres some personal favorites of mine:

The Tales of the Otori: Across the Nightingale floor
Grass for his Pillow
Brilliance of the Moon

and later:
The Harsh Cry of the Heron
Heaven's Net is Wide

Its about a peasant thats village gets attacked by a warlord and is taken up by a legendary samurai. Along the way he meets a princess and some warriors that befriend him. He later joins a family (which is really his original family since the village he grew up in was really his adopted village) made up of assassins. However, he soon tries to escape from it to marry the princess and even though he succeeds, he attracts the attention of the entire family and they send assassins to kill him.

Im not saying any more since Itll ruin the whole story for you.

Two words for you:

READ IT! (or them but who cares about grammar huh?)

yeah ther is such a thing as reading too much.. like when you don't get other things done... or lose the kids you're babysitting... but out of all of those if you can only read one, read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. it comes before the Da Vinci Code.
