I really think you will enjoy The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind.
Wizard's First Rule
Stone of Tears
Blood of the Fold
Temple of the Winds
Soul of the Fire
Faith of the Fallen
Pillars of Creation
Naked Empire
Chainfire
Phantom
Confessor
It's got a great storyline, lots of imagery, and won't have you nodding off like the Wheel of Time series will.
Well, to clarify, the Wheel of Time series is truly imaginative but the storyline can be tedious in places.
Also, there are several series by David Eddings that you might enjoy.

The Belgariad
-Pawn of Prophecy
-Queen of Sorcery
-Magician's Gambit
-Castle of Wizardry
-Enchanter's End Game

The Malloreon
-Guardians of the West
-King of the Murgos
-Demon Lord of Karanda
-Sorceress of Darshiva
-The Seeress of Kell

The Elenium Trilogy
-The Diamond Throne
-The Ruby Knight
-The Sapphire Rose

The Tamuli Trilogy
-Domes of Fire
-The Shining Ones
-The Hidden City

I would recommend starting with the Belgariad. It's a great read and a great way to get into David Eddings' writing style.

wow. you have a large collection of books!
Oh and is the Belgariad series connected to all the others (like The Malloreon, The Elenium Trilogy, and etc etc)?
Thanks for the recommendations!

Obviously everyone has different tastes in what they like to read...

But i recommend 'The tomorrow series' by John Marsden :3

1. Tomorrow, when the war began
2. The dead of the night
3. The third day, the frost
4. Darkness, be my friend
5. Burning for revenge
6. The night is for hunting
7. The other side of dawn

The novels are in 1st person...

I read all of them within a week. I did some pretty hardout reading...

But I loved all 7 of them ^^

At last count I had 81 books, but thats after I moved and had to replace the 200 I had to leave in the States.
The Belgariad is followed by the Malloreon. The Elenium is in a completely different setting and is followed by the Tamuli trilogy. David Eddings is a great writer but, he's currently 77 years old and I think he's kinda lost his touch. His newer books have a good concept behind them but, the dialogue is rather repetitive. Certain words and phrases are repeated throughout the story.
You also might want to try the Icewind Dale trilogy by R. A. Salvatore.
Icewind Dale
-The Crystal Shard
-Streams of Silver
-Halfling's Gem
The Halfling's Gem appeared on the New York Times Best seller list.

The author was Robert Louis Stevenson. Never read it but I think I'll give it a shot.

Wow! Sounds really interesting! I've never heard of the author before though. This is about adventure novels right? Fiction? Are there magic in it? or time travel? Fantasy lands?
