Default Can Anybody Recommend Great Adventure Novels to spend time in holidays?

Just like the title says.

Please recommend the title of an adventure novel (fiction - scifi- or non fiction are okay),
and also the author,
because I'm totally bored for my summer holiday.

Thanks for those who replied!

You're most welcome.
If you want....you can try the books by dan Brown:
da vinci code
angels and demon
deception point
digital fortress
Then you can try the vampire novels if you want mystery and scare......check it out.....it's in my signature:......vampire novels.....
Then you go to the Pendragon series which is great adventure.
then there is the Bartemious trilogy...not sure if i spelt the name correct. it involves adventure and magic.....in my opinion it is better than harry potter.

I've read one of Brown's books before, I think it's Da Vinci Code.
And I also have Angels and Demons, and Deception Point.
But I haven't read it all yet.

I heard from my friends that Twilight novel is about some kind of vampire-romance story.
Is it any good? (Sorry if that's kind of out of the topic)

The Pendragon series and The Bartimeous Trilogy...
Sounds fun! I've always seen these books in the fiction novels counter.

Once again, thanks!
You really help me.

Yeah I did, but I didn't understand the plot yet so I didn't continue reading the thread.
Now, I'm starting to get really interested in Twilight,
but my summer holiday is just one week left

Oh well, better start reading then.
thanks!

Thank you cowtopia!
I will be sure to put your recommendation to read!

Actually, I already read half of Eragon novel,
but not the eldest though.

Anyway, thanks for replying and giving me those recommendations!

Dont forget Percy Jackson & the Olympians! I thought it was a pretty stupid book because of the name but then... Dont judge a book by its cover. Its a really good book. I wish I didnt put off reading it for a year.
