I was hoping for a bittesweet ending for this book, but I was sorely let down. Nice to see that more fans have the same opinion. I wished that Bella had vampire lust for blood as that would have made things a bit more interesting. And she wouldn't have seemed very Mary Sue-ish as well.

OMG I thought I'd get a bunch of people mad at me for not liking the book all that much...guess I thought wrong lol.
Everyone seems to have the opinion that the story took a nosedive when it reached book 3, and I agree. Everything from that point was just too easy.
When I finished Eclipse I went crazy for Breaking Dawn. I searched for spoilers like a maniac. I read fanfiction. I wrote fanfiction. All my friends were going fangirl because I had written up to 112 pages of My Breaking Dawn, and honestly, I think my storyline was more interesting than the real one. It was just too predictable. I had a strange feeling that I was still reading fanfiction as I read the book, and that bothered me so much I couldn't enjoy it.
On the other hand, I decided to give Stephanie Meyer another chance and I read the Host. I am SO happy I did. After I read B.D., I felt like Stephanie Meyer had "betrayed" me by not giving me the story her fans were waiting for. After I finished the Host, I forgot about the "betrayal" because the book was so good. It's not the BEST book I've every read, but it's one of my favorites now.
I don't know if anyone else has read The Host, so I'll refrain from talking about it any more. Unless you guys have read it.

I want to read your version of Breaking Dawn, KiraKira-Chan. Hmm you had that feeling that you were reading fanfiction too? I had the same feeling. In fact I remember complaining to my brother, who just hmm'ed and uhha'd every few seconds or so, that the ending was like a fanfiction. If it was I would have liked it a whole lot better, because if it was fanfiction it was written by someone else. But reading a book written by the author and have it feel like you're reading fanfiction is weird.

Sorry VampireLover-chan (may I call you that?) but I never typed it up. I wrote it in a binder in my free time...or during class XP but once I got to the point where Bella had become a vamp, I couldn't continue. It just fell apart. Or maybe it had already fallen apart, and I was just realizing it. Everyone was too out of character...urgh. I've had writers block for a while, maybe that's why. In the end, at the end of the school year, I took the story out of my locker and tore it up and threw it in the trash. My friends got mad at me for doing that, heh.
Anyway, I can tell you the plot if you want... =}

I don't have any problems with the book.There are small things that i wish their would've been more or less of but that's about it.Now that i reflect on it, the book was leading up to this big conflict but i was so relieved that everyone was alive that i didn't care,,but i could see how that would be disappointing.I guess i just like happy endings .

Hey Vampy-chan!
Have you not read it yet? If you haven't despite what people have said (including me XD) You should read the book! There are plenty of flaws but its enjoyable and worth at the very least checking out from the library. It didnt end like anyone expected but most of us enjoyed it. (i think, i was disappointed but im still happy i bought it>.<)

Hmm, You mean Breaking Dawn Amythist? I've read it, and agree with most everyone in this thread. I was talking about KiraKira-chan's own version of it that she tore up and threw away. I wanted to know the plot at least but she never did get back to me on that.
Fanfiction.net is being such a pain in the butt and not leting me log in...but that's not the point.

Honestly, i love the series and everything.
But i think that the ending kinda sucked. I dunno why
The thing that surprised me the most is Renesmee, but that's it.
I mean i liked it just wish it was as good as Twilight cause I think that's the book that made me want to keep going. And i'm not sure, but i think she kinda slacked off on the last part. And when it came to the war between the Vulturi and The Vampires i was expecting more "rawr" lol More excitment. I dunnoo...i was a lil disappointed but i still love the series.

I agree about Twilight being the best book out of all 4. I personally hated the Happily Ever After Ending. I wished it was a bit more bittersweet. And the Vultori fight was supposed to be the climax of the book. Where there's a bunch of fighting, and not just blurs anymore. Bella could explain in perfect detail. No all we got was a bunch of talking and their powers bouncing off of Bella's shield.
