Just finished Breaking Dawn and currently re-reading A Step From Heaven by An Na. I wanted to re-read Kira Kira by Cynthia Kadohata but couldn't find it anywhere in my house.

Thumbs up Natsuo Kirino

For those of you who like dark, contemporary japanese fiction, natsuo kirino's novels are perfect. her stories center around women and murder, and the ugly side of japanese culture that many japanese refuse to acknowledge.

her novel, OUT, tells a story about four women who work in a bento factory who, for various reasons, dismember and hide the corpse of one of the women's husband. the ending is incredible, and leaves the reader shocked, and desperate for more of kirino's works.

definitely two thumbs up for this lovely lady

I'm currently in love with the "Percy Jackson of the Olympians" series by Rick Riordan. It's a good series packed with humor and adventure. I really like the author's writing of surprises and mysterious hidden secrets. Anyways... It's a really good series!

I'm reading Brave Story by Miyuki Miyabe. It's kind of weird and a little dark (and 800+pages long), but it's still really good!

Currently i'm reading Ich hab die Unschuld kotzen sehen by Dirk Bernemann. It's a book in german and i don't think that it's translated into english, therefore sorry that the title is in german as well.

Gretchen: You're weird.
Donnie: Sorry.
Gretchen: No, that was a compliment.
