Tamora Pierce is a great author I enoy reading her books often.
Ranger's apprentice is also a great series I can't wait for the next book to come out

My favorite author is David Weber, he is a sci-fi writer and the best book written by him in my opinion is Mutineers Moon

Christopher Pike, Stephen King -- I just like horror books. And LJ Smith -- her nightworld series are simply the best.

My favorite author would be Heather Brewer who writes the Chronicles of Vladimir Tod. She actually talks to her readers and interacts with them. I know many authors are busy but they could at least give a word every now and then to their readers.
