i read a lot of sci-fi.
larry niven, ae van vogt, robert heinlein, isaac asimov, etc.

i also like herman hesse and nietzsche. demian was a pretty good book and siddharta but they hardly differ... :(

I like thrillers!!!^^ Especially with mysteries, and crime scenes! (Your typical CSI)

My fave author is Sandra Brown. Currently, i have Fat Tuesday and Hello, Darkness. I'm still hunting 4 her other works.

i like charles dickens too...

Yes, Shakespeare is, though he's more of a playwright and a poet. <3

I am a total Salinger fan and he is my favorite writer. A few other favorites: anything by Kerouac and Dave Egger's "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius". I also love Vonnegut's satirical humor, and if nothing else his "illustrations" are hilarious. I suffered from Shakespeare tragedy overkill in middleschool and high school, so I tend to favor his comedies now. And anyone a fan of his funnies should read Tom Stoppard's "Rosencrantz and Guildernstern are Dead", good stuff. Light reads done in a sitting like Dan Brown's "Angels and Demons" and Da Vinci Code are good mostly because I like the storyline. Sure, Dan Brown's writing is total crap and reads like 5th grade grammar, but I guess that's what makes it light reading.
