My favorite author is Jane Austen hands down, I love her writing style- she must have been a cool woman to talk to! But I also love Brian Jacques, Shakespeare, Jean Auel, Charles Dickens, Walter Farley, Dr. Seuss, Anne McCaffrey, JK Rowling and several others. My tastes in books are mixed since I just love a good story! | |

| People may laugh at me (And could care less if they do) But since the age of 8 (When I read the "Great Illustrated Classics" Version of Pride and Prejudice) my favorite author has been Jane Austen. Now, being considerably older and having read the unabridged version along with Sense and Sensibility and Emma, my opinion has only grown stronger. The personalities of her characters and dry wit/humor are a complete draw in for me. Not to mention the romantic plots, I'm afraid I can be a bit of a hopeless romantic at times. Now reaching to the complete opposite stretch of the universe, my second favorite author would have to be the one and only Terry Pratchett. He's a comical genius. I can't even describe it. But his books leave me rolling from cover to cover. |

| So you have read the Pendragon Series? Dude! I love that series. It's my favorite book series ever! Well my favorite authors would have to be D.J. MacHale who writes the Pendragon Series, Kevin Brooks who wrote "Being", Sam Enthoven who wrote "The Black Tattoo", Ted Dekker who wrote the Circle Trilogy, and Cliff McNish who wrote the Silver Sequence. |

| I'd have to say that Robert Jordan is my favorite author. The man was amazing! I'm partial to Tamora Pierce and Terry Brooks though. I too just love a good story. Brain Jacques is amazing too, as are Timothy Zahn and Garth Nix. Those people are probably my top favorites. |
