| I like her..^^ I have read her books over and over :P sometimes her books are little bit boring when there is no action but romance is enought ;> Have you seen Pride and Prejudice movie? what did you like it? I usually don't like Keira Knightley but she was good playing Lizzie. But I think that movie didn't give justice to the book. Everything happens so fast and I didn't get a good image when Lizzie's feelings change towards mr.Darcy..

| I love Austen... She writes such wonderful irony. Although I thought that Pride and Prejudice dragged on a little too much; I prefer some of her later work like Mansfield Park and Persuasion. Generally I don't like romances much, but what I like about her work is the originality of the characters. |

| I realize that her books are amazing pieces of literature and etc etc. but I can't help but find them heartbreakingly dull. Given I've only read Pride and Prejudice (I was forced to in English Class) so I can't be a very good judge but it was... long-winded to say the least. I wanted to cry every time Mr. Collins started talking. |

| jane austen's wit, humor and deep perception of society and all it's rules and pretentions i believe make her a classic and most worthy read. although to truly understand superior writing one must understand the era. which may be difficult considering our own selfish and precipitant culture. |
