Have you seen Pride and Prejudice movie? what did you like it? I usually don't like Keira Knightley but she was good playing Lizzie. But I think that movie didn't give justice to the book. Everything happens so fast and I didn't get a good image when Lizzie's feelings change towards mr.Darcy..
the hbo five hour special follows the story much more closely, keira knightly's was pretty good considering that regular movies have time constraints on them. who knows

I too Like Pride and Prejudice the best out of all her novels, next in line would be Emma.
I just love her female characters, strong and witty. I think p and p is may favorite because it mirror's Jane's life the most out of any of her novels but this time she gets the happy ending she never got in life.
I find it so bittersweet she is able to write the cat and mouse game of falling in love so well, and her characters all get happily ever after. but she never did.

I love her books, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion.
She is a classical author that is meant for history books.

Default She's a classic

Jane Austen's novels are golden classics, that woman knew what she was writing about! I believe I've read most of her books, unless by some mishap I missed one. And I can say I enjoyed all of them, the characters, the storyline, they are all too real. By far my favorite is Pride & Prejudice, to me it is her most engaging book.

And I have to say that I was really happy with the way this novel was portayed in the recent movie, starting Keira Knightley, she was fantastic oh and Mr. Darcy I'll be damm but I like high and arrogant dudes like him, but in the end he is oh so romantic! I love Jane!
