Oh, I like her...I've read some of her novels, like 'Pride and prejudice', 'Sense and sensibility','Emma' and 'Mansfield park'. I would also recommend Charlotte Bronte and Emily Bronte, if this type of novels are suitable to your taste...

Default i'm definitly an austenite!

I've read several of her books and I really enjoyed them. Then I got curious about her and read a few biographies about her too.

Jane Austen is definitely a good author, not my favorite, but I've read a few of her works.
And I'm just wondering if anyone saw the movie based on her own romance, starring Anne Hathaway?

Yeah, i saw that movie!! The portrayal of Austen by Hathaway was pretty well done. MacAvoy (dunno if I'm spelling his last name correctly) wasn't too bad either. I liked him better in Atonement though.
My favorite love story is Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I also loved the portrayal of Lizzie by Knightley in the 2005 film.
All her stories are so well-written. Austen is one of my favorite authors, and definitely one of the best authors of all time. [:

i love mansfield park too..though i think the heroine is a bit too passive for my liking..and her character didnt undergo much changes. still, it has one of the best conflicts among other austen's novel..
