| Ok I'm going to look into a few of those bands suggested... Just a few, mainly because already dislike most of what was posted :P Also I'm going to revise my description: I'm still looking for metal, however this time I'm not concerned about what type of metal it is just as long as it's in English. Also I'm still after epic lyrics (i.e. slaying dragons, questing, riding, etc.) a couple of examples of what I'm looking for is almost anything from DragonForce but also "The Lost Vikings" from Dethklok is an EXTREMELY good example of what I'm after. In the end I'm not concerned so much if it's metal or not just as long as it has epic lyrics, rock suffices though metal is preferred. Also maybe I should put down that I enjoy listening to "DragonForce", "Dethklok", "Arctic Monkeys", "The Black Mages", "Crush 40", "Gorillaz", "Rage Against the Machine" and "Tenacious D" so keep them in mind when suggesting a band to me. And on the flipside I don't like "Nickleback", Good Charlotte", "The White Room", "Muse", "Hinder" and I don't really step outside the realms of Rock and Metal so please no Rap/Pop/Hip-Hop/R 'n' B thank you. Finally someone else ask for a recommendation, this thread isn't only for me >_>

| Oh my... I had a friend who DJ'd with Dirty Sanchez. They certainly are dirty. And made of strange. I think Leslie and the Lys falls somewhere in that category as well. If you've never heard of her, definately youtube her and her fantastic "gem sweaters". Made of sillies. Even if you don't like it, you'll definately laugh. Oh or Chromeo, I like Chromeo though and Tracy and the Plastics. |
