I actually wasn't into manga or anime at the time. The hell if I would have spent that money if I was. And 150USD would get me 12-13 manga volumes depending on the company. I blew over 500 bucks on that trip. What I would give to have $500 to devote stricktly to the buying of manga now.

I think if you include shipping costs it's about equal to if you bought it from a store. Unless you amazingly found incredibly cheap manga at the shipping rates of five years ago. (if you have, do pass that sellers name on! )

When I got it done you could pick between a range of browns and blacks.

I do live in the states. I realize that the $ symbol is universally recognized as the USD but since there are probably a lot of people from other countries using this site, I figured it would be a good idea to point that out. (on the off chance that it wasn't recognized.)

Henna is washable but leaves your hand or whatever it was on stained orange or yellow for awhile lol. Never knew it was that much.

I've never bought manga from EBAY, so I wouldn't know. I usually buy from my local Waldons Bookstore and they are typically $7 a volume. The bookstore is small so there isn't a large selection, but if you ask for something that they carry in any other Waldons, they will order it for you for no extra charge.

Well its normally $9.99, but the clerk there has a crush on me so he gives me a discount. Hee Hee I do sometimes feel sad about taking advantage of him, but it is SO WORTH IT! LOL My love for manga knows no bounds!

Anyway, when I joined the club I got 10% off which means I only had to pay $8.99. But since the clerk has a crush on me...He takes off $1.99 just for me! Plus, where I live we don't have to pay tax on every purchase we make.

Shit that's a nice set up you've got going on with that clerk. Are they giving you their employee discount? Hope they don't get caught whatever they're doing. But I guess that wouldn't be that big of an issue if they were in management.

Nah, his father technically owns this branch of the store, so he can do what he wants. If he was cuter or had a better personality, I might have gone out with him. He's just way too shy for my taste and I would feel bad leading him on by agreeing to go out with him. But he is cute in his own way. He blushes (seriously) every time I come into the store. He looks like he could be Irish with his curly red hair and extremely pale complexion. Plus he has a lanky body and freckles all over his nose and cheeks. It's funny, because he can't look me in the eye when I come into the store and every time asks me out...I can barely hear what he says because he whispers "Will you go out with me."
It broke my heart having to tell him no, also he's barely 17 so it would be illegal for me to date him. But turning him down doesn't seem to break him since he always asks me out every time I go into the store. It's kind of become a ritual.
