Don't be. When I'm searching for a book I hear him with other customers and he is EXTREMELY rude and looks down on everybody else. It's just with me that he's shy and awkward. If his father didn't own the store, he probably would have been fired along time ago. I remember once he made a girl cry! She accidentally knocked down a display and BOY was he mad. He called her such horrible names, but luckily his father came out and apologized to the girl who couldn't have been more than 12 at the time. He's only shy and quiet when I am around him. It broke my heart having to tell him no, also he's barely 17 so it would be illegal for me to date him. But turning him down doesn't seem to break him since he always asks me out every time I go into the store. It's kind of become a ritual.

Trust me his personality makes up for me ever feeling sorry for him. LOL But I don't just go there for discounts...it's the only store with a decent size manga collection. Even the local Barnes and Noble has a crappy selection. Plus, he gives me the discount without me ever asking, so its not like I'm gonna say" sorry I would rather pay full price instead." I would be a big idiot if I did that! LOL
Send me money and I would be happy to purchase any manga you'd want at that price.

haha, true, that'd probably make him feel like shit. Poor sucker. Though I am a believer of; "Those who leave themselves open deserve to be taken advantage of." At the same time however, there are limits. (depending on the circumstances)

Now you see why I don't mind "taking advantage" of his crush on me. LOL If he was a better person I would feel worse than I do about it. But he isn't, and I don't. Besides as far as I can tell he's only nice to me and I think he's only nice to me because of the way I look. If he liked me for who I am and not the way I looked than I would probably like him better. LOL

Plus he doesn't seem to mind at all. It's never stopped him from asking me out and he's never complained about the discount. In fact it was always his idea. I don't know why but I think that he thinks that if he give me a discount that maybe he could break me down into saying yes one of these days. The little snot! If only he knew what I thought about him being an ass, and that I would NEVER agree to go out with him. PLUS he's under age, and I will be 23 in 10 days!!!
