u know hugh laurie has a big english accent but amazingly makes it american for the series

Yeah, when he sent in his audition tape he did it in his American accent, and when the director saw it he turned to one of the other people viewing the auditions and said something like "that's the kind of American actor we need for this show" not knowing Hugh Laurie was English. He's an amazing actor, and he plays the role perfectly.

Ha ha, you see Laurie on a talk show and you do a double take- 'he's BRITISH? DAMN O_o

House ranks high on my favorite fictional doctors list which includes Black Jack (another questionable genius), Dr Tenma of Monster (genius that did the right thing for once and screwed up super bad!), etc.

Seeing as I don't have other 'real' doctors on there you can see what an achievement it is that House is on there!

Does anyone know he had a part in Friends?
It was the episode where Rachel wants to confess her love to Ross who was about to get married in London. Hugh Laurie was the guy sitting next to Rachel.
I wonder what other shows and movies he played in =)
