i watched the entire Japanese series last year, totally hilarious. i prefer the Japanese version too, although I haven't seen much of the taiwanese version, i know more of the Japanese actors. ANd i also heard that a Hana Kimi Special is coming out soon.

I have the Japanese version on DVD. There's gonna be an SP!! I'm so excited. I like the Taiwanese version too (Jiro!!), but the japanese is my favorite. My only issue with it was that it didn't really follow along with the manga. The Taiwanese did, but the acting and scenes were so exaggerated that I couldn't get into it much. I prefer Horikita Maki to Ella, too. Though I can't decide who the better actor is between Jiro Wang and Ikuta Toma...Such a hard choice!

I saw Hana Kimi in the Jap. and Tai. I prefer the Jap. better because it's more "funner". In Ver. Tai the acting is exaggerated. -_- It took me like a week to watch of first episode because of the actiing...then it gets better later on? o(>_<)o I only saw a couple of episodes in the Ver. Tai

It gets a lot better later on. The only thing you really have to stop and stare at is Ella, she overacts a LOT.

On the contrary, the Japanese manga came before the taiwanese version.
The show was an adaptation of the manga.
