Default worst time to read this

when i was 12 i was at my uncle's house and he was obcessed with japanese culture and (so am i) i was looking through his stuff and i found a manga (guess which one?) after reading it for like 15 min. i felt so sick (the talk about sex wasent what bothered me) so i consider reading this as one of my top 10 most tramatizing moments of my life

I read the novel first actually, and then watched the movie and now I'm reading the manga. I'm amazed at some of the differences between each of the three and I think combined it would be a nearly flawless franchise, however each one has their weaknesses. Overall, I think the novel is still my favorite bit of media in the franchise however.

I just watched the first movie a few hours ago. I enjoyed it. I found it interesting to watch how everyone reacted and coped with the situation. I'm gonna watch the second one tomorrow, and read the manga over time.

I'm currently 18, so the content didn't really bother me, but it would have disturbed me horribly if I'd seen it at a younger age. ^-^;
