|  Shiba Clan Originally the Shiba Clan was a part of the 5 Great Noble Families (now 4 Great Noble Families) and were later removed as said by Soi Fong. So i wanted to know if you guys had any theories or thoughts to why they had their nobility taken away. I personally don't have any, but i read someone's theory on why this happened and they said it was because Kaien became a holllow... but i really think that is unlikely....so any thoughts or theories

| It IS kinda weird; and wouldn't Yoruichi's Shihouin clan have had theirs taken away because she helped Urahara? There's probably something more behind the Shiba clan's fate- maybe to do with Kukaku! And come to think of it- how come Ukitake had that thing (with the Shihouin house crest) they used to destroy Syokyoku (maybe thats not the right name- the big flame zanpaktou used to kill Rukia?), Yoruichi sure didn't tell him where to get it since Ukitake only realised she was coming when Shunsui hinted it! So what's his connection to the noble families? |

| I was damn sure that I heard Shunsui was from a noble family, but then I just couldn't find where I came across this and thought I'd just imagined it or something! I really don't get the structure of noble families either! How many of them EXACTLY are there? And are there sub classes like 'lower noble families' you mention? And where'd Yamamoto come from? I know its not specifically mentioned anywhere in the manga but he has 3 names right? As far as I know more than 2 names usually indicates nobility in Japan. |
