Sorry if i misspell anything but here it goes, in the episode where ichigo has to fight his inner hollow shinji and them are talking about how long was the longest anyone stayed fighting their inner hollow and it was hiyori yet, in the latest manga it suggests that urahara stops the hollowfication but I do suppose that since the longest was hiyori and that she's urahara lieutinent then it could still be possible to be fix the contradiction but I dunno so I wanna know whay ya'll think personally i'm undecisive. (Again sorry if I misspell anything)

they were referring to fighting the hollow and subduing it for control. i don't think that's about to happen just yet. believe urahara is just going to stop the hollow from completely taking over right now and they have to fight for control later

I think the Vizards probably had to go through the same thing as Ichigo did
They knew a lot about what was happening to Ichigo so they probably went through the same thing with fighting their inner hollow to gain control and Hiyori probably just took the longest.

yea i agree......but i dont get when they told ichigo (b4 his transformation) that if his hollow wasn't strong enough he'd die....makes me wonder if there were other ppl going thru hollowfication and ended up weaker

actually, if you look back in the past three chapters, it appears that
Hiyori has already subdued her hollow. after she transforms, four of
the Shinigami surround her. after they are defeated by Tousen's bankai,
they all fall to the ground, with Hiyori left standing. when she sees Shinji
laying on the ground, she tries communicating with him, saying, "Shi...sh..
shin...ji?" suggesting that she is in control of her thought and actions.
realizing this, Aizen orders Tousen to stop her, and he does so, and has
been unconscious ever since.

Who the heck was keeping time? and to the minute no less! I think Hiyori had just temporarily gotten control back at that point- the actual inner battles will probably happen later!

Good question- Does anybody die during the inner-hollow battle? And if not, then how do the vizards know that losing to one's inner hollow leads to death?

No one ever said THAT- its simply that if you lose the battle the hollow takes over, and when that happens (with Ichigo for instance) the Vizard can't sure as hell let it go on a rampage! They were talking about having to kill him themselves!

But wait, if they all went through 'hollowification' thats different then what ichigo did so how would they know the inner hollow was going to take over when he fought it? So confusing... I wish the new manga would hurry up and come out...
