i know you people have prob forgotten about him but will zangetsu be back i do and hell prob teach ichigo a new move (since he needs it ie to beat ullquora and aizen) know that ichigo has bankai exp you know thers always another move in bankai

Nah, I for one didn't forget Zangesu Ossan- he's probably now the dominant occupant of Ichigo's inner sanctum once again (or playing cards with Hichigo).
We might just see him in the middle of an Ichigo vs Ulquiorra fight or something and I think Ichigo DOES need some good old bankai extras to get back in the game!

But then again someone totally unexpected might go against Ulquiorra... Say maybe Ulquiorra vs Mayuri? (weird matchup... maybe not...)

Yeah I've missed seeing Old Man Zangetsu too. He's my favorite character within a character. lol

Yeah, he is pretty cool. But didn't Ichigo's hollow self say that Zangetsu was just ''gone''? Ahhh... i want Zangetsu back, anyway!

there was a thread bout this already btw, i remember posting in it.

in any case, ichigo works like this. whoever is teh strongest, is in charge. when ichigo was still learning of his own powers, and his hollow was still weak, zangetsu was the ruling body because he was the strongest. when we first see hichigo that's made obvious as he asks to "go back" and zangetsu re-absorbs him. as ichigo and hichigo grew stronger, zangetsu just took more of a teacher's role, ichigo no longer relied on zangetsu's power, he relied on his own. especially after achieving bankai. when he did achieve bankai, hichigo along with him, zangetsu had been made the weakest of the three and was absorbed by hichigo. hichigo became a reluctant teacher of sorts then by challenging ichigo. but wasn't really ready to take him head on, hence why ichigo could rip off the mask when he took over. the vizard forced ichigo to face hichigo because hichigo was indeed becoming stronger and taking over. when hichigo was defeated by ichigo, he was absorbed. there are, as far as we know, no longer 3 seperate parts of his power. now there is only ichigo.

under that pretense, unless hichigo was just lying lol, it's unlikely zangetsu will ever reappear seeing as how bankai is supposed to be the limit of a zanpaktou. maybe there's another release above bankai that very few know of, and perhaps, may be the TRUE reason aizen wants to "break the wall between hollow and shinigami". now if that happens, and ichigo somehow achieves this release, we should see the return of old man zangetsu, seeing as how his power would be the governing power and he would have more to teach ichigo. i hope so anyway, i liked zangetsu too lol. and hichigo.... he's a friggin berserker! i wanna see hichigo vs kenpachi! which, if there is a 3rd release and ichigo achieves it, then hichigo's power would grow also and he would be able to challenge him again. as a matter of fact, hichigo said ichigo better continue to grow stronger because if he doesn't, he'll be back to take over. and in a way the vizard have said the same.

anyway, that's just my two cents. but if bankai is indeed the ultimate form, then i doubt we'll ever hear from hichigo or zangetsu again as there's nothing more to teach ichigo

Haha that's a good one... playing cards.. Yeah I really hope that Zangetsu is the more powerful being in Ichigo now that Ichigo has control over the hollow inside now. And he definitely needs a new technique.
