| before we start, i know that their are similar threads like this. dont flame me, haha. i have a much more specific debate in mind. lol .in the current chapter, it became very apparent that the number one espada is not Halibel, although many people knew this all along. what we did see, is both Stark and Baragan take claim at being the number one Espada. Baragan - seeing that Aizen is trapped inside the flames, Baragan auto- matically assumed the position of "commander", ready to give out all of the orders. this gives him a strong case at being the number one Espada. Stark - he seems to be quite the pacifist. when Baragan begins giving out orders, Lilinet kicks him, as if Baragan has no right to do that, and that Stark should perhaps be giving out the orders. what do you guys think? who is the number one Espada? ![]()

| Stark for sure is the one of the more epic arrancar...yeah i would have to say that stark is the the number 1 espada...Baragan probably just takes more of the initiative since he knows stark won't really do anything

| I agree with kcal9 and the others. I think Stark is the number one Espada. Also, Barragan just taking the "initiative" to take command, hmmmm, insecure perhaps?

| I think stark doesnt like to fight, as a pacifist or whatever he is, he seems not to be happy with that war, and he couldn't care less. It's just my point of view. Last edited by saorisan : 07-18-2008 at 10:11 PM. |

| Yeah, I'd have to agree with everyone else on this one. I mean if Baragan really were the number one Espada, I doubt he would have asked Stark if he were ok with him taking charge. The way it seems so far, I'd have to say Baragan is the second strongest Espada. That leaves Halibel as Tercera Espada (third Espada), or so I think. Besides, since the beginning, Stark has been laid back n tries to avoid fighting (or n-e type of work, for that matter) as much as possible. Kinda reminds you of Captain Kyouraku, doesn't it? ![]() |

| ....yea this chapter really cleared the halibel factor......not really sure what to say...i see stark as number 1 going in a way that hes watching barragan make his moves and see where he fails....barragan seems just to high and mighty to be number 1 XD (that make sense?).....ughhhhhh wasnt really a good post....going back to sleep soon T_T

| I think it's Baragan- in order for someone to have the nerve to carry around a throne made of bones, they HAVE to be in charge. Plus, Baragan started giving orders like it was a pre-arranged procedure. On the other hand, authority and Espada numbers don't always correlate. Ulquiora seems to have more authority than the other Espada despite the #4 ranking.
