Michael Bluth: You were still taking that? You had Buster thirty-two years ago.
Lucille: And that's how long I've been depressed about him.

i really am glad the turn back the pendulum arc came about, it shows how it all started...and im pretty sure a lot more people will agree...and no kubo isnt stalling time. people like him know how they want thier storys to go so the turn back the pendulum arc was bound to happen anyway

I think its general concensus that the Pendulum arc was a long way coming (though I didn't quite think as a full arc), but as for pace I thought this last chapter made up for all the pace you would've wanted from the ones before!

I'm more interested in the story than the fighting.

I don't think that he is stalling for time, maybe the background info is to explain how everything came to be like this. I'm hoping an explanation for how the dad lost his powers and how he is alive will come up. I've got to know what a true blood means. Remember when the dad killed that thing and then told kon not to tell ichigo about it? So many questions, hopefully some answers. I also think some hints about the royal family might be in this part. I'm hoping for an explanation as to why u(can't spell his name, that one guy who is a scientist and lives on earth) created the stuff he did that aesin took. I love the main story, don't get me wrong, but some answers might be nice. I love the fights as well, and some are probably coming up in this part. I like the parts with ichigo better, so i want the main story to come up again soon.
P.S. sorry about the misspelled names, and if i somehow confused you.

as a great Bleach fan and fellow author, i can tell you
that without a doubt, Kubo Tite is not stalling for time.
99.9% of the time, authors create an "arc" like this because
if you advanced any further in the story without it, you
would be totally lost. expect the Vaizard in the upcoming
Winter War.

depending on how you define action, there has been some
in a few of the latest chapters, but like most others said, i
am thoroughly enjoying the Pendulum Arc.

True, just think about Detective Conan (I believe thats what the series is called). I hear that series is just more and more cases with the main plot only being touched on here and there.

I feel this series is completely different, and each chapter seems to have for the most part a purpose.
