Default Who is the King of SS???

Bear with me, I'm a fan but as far as recounting material in the previous chapters are fuzzy... so don't flame my response. Just a small question...

I remember reading that there was a King that existed in Soul Society. And I know that Aizen is seeking the 'key' that is in SS in over take it over... so I got to wondering... is the King in the story the key (expression of symbolism) ? And if there is a King... who do you speculate is the King?

I got hunches on the possible person... and it's the one person they failed to mention in this flashback chapters. I know I may be going way out on left field with this assumption, but could it be Isshin Kurosaki?

Don't come with your flamed torches and pitchforks folks. Just pondering...

What do you think?

ive heard a few other people who said that Kurosaki Isshin is
the King of Soul Society, but i dont think that this is very likely.
if he was the king, at any point, the name Kurosaki most likely
would have been known during the Soul Society Arc, when
Ichigo and company invaded Soul Society. i think it is more
likely that it is someone who was not introduced yet, or someone
who has some kind of relation with someone in Sereitei today.
it will surely be interesting though.

I doubt that Isshin Kurosaki was the King of SS, cause I remember Rangiku saying that nobody has seen the king or even know if he exists. I also remember Gin knowing the name Kurosaki, back when Ichigo and co. invaded the Seireitei, and I doubt that Gin would be familiar with the King...

well, Yamamoto Genryuusai confirmed the existence of the
king, however, never said who he was. (thanks a lot ol'yama!)
haha, as for Gin, you never know. he is a pretty shady
character! haha

Kurosaki might just be a pseudonym or Ichigo's mother's maiden name. While Isshin being the king is unlikely, I think we need to consider the possibility that Isshin is from a noble family- assuming there are any left that they haven't used up yet! (too much work to recount myself... heh he heh)
Since that maybe how Urahara knows him- Tessai says something about them living in Yoruichi's place or something so they may've met there.

Wow, I got responses! I'm so happy!

Well I do believe that Isshin was from a Noble family... and when he chose to stay in the human world with Masaki they allowed him [central 46] but his name was stricken from any record of being there. That's my take on it all...

All I can say is I'll be plenty pissed if they don't include him in this arc... it would be ridiculous! Do you think Kubo has forgotten him???

OMG chapter -101 is such a cliffy! Tite is only showing us small portions of a very HUGE story... there's no way he can explain the entirety of this flashback within one chapter.

actually, i think that he can explain the rest of the story in one
more chapter. in case you haven't realized it, they are already
beating off to of the inner hollows, and Kuna Mashiro is already
trapped under Hachigen's "six pillar prison", the same technique
he used to pin Ichigo down when fighting off his Vaizard. if the
story goes on as is, the rest of the current Vaizard remain
"uninfected". and that outfit that Kisuke has on makes him look
awfully shady, does this make him the killer?

I doubt its Urahara thats the killer and also that the next chapter can wrap everything up (at the current pace anyway!).
Also Kubo Tite won't forget Isshin- I think he's one of his favorite characters (I heard something of the sort somewhere).
Personally it looks like everyone gets infected sometime or other but a few manage to win the battle (and this way Shinji's, Hachigen's, etc. 'times' would not have been kept!!!) and overpower the others. Then they make an escape fearing persecution from Soul Society. Urahara and Tessai make it there too late but they do discover who/what the killer is. And what he/it does!

i have also been thinking that isshin is from a noble family...and i think that he is from the Shiba clan..he looks very similar to Ganju in most respect and Isshin may be the reason why they lost their nobility

i know thats what i thought as well about Kisuke, but i think its Aizen. I sure whatever he was planning up until he left so soul society must have dated back all the way to the pendulum chapters. Thats my only possible reasoning...i wonder why he is doing it besides trying to gain power....i want it to be for revenge

Michael Bluth: You were still taking that? You had Buster thirty-two years ago.
Lucille: And that's how long I've been depressed about him.

Ye i agree with u too. I think it's probably Aizen Sousuke that trying to kill them.. and those people that vanished is probably Aizen's Shikai release, something like illusion
