| Hi, I've watched the anime already, but before I read the manga, would anyone tell me if there are any major differences between the two? I read that Meilin is not in the manga. Other than that, is the manga almost exactly the same as the anime? Last edited by RedJellybeans : 05-18-2008 at 04:29 PM. |

| Lemkelicious! | ok, there are some differences: -in the anime, there are more cards. -in the manga has more Sakura X Syaoran Moments if you would read the manga, you can clearly see the differences. The manga seems to be much better than the anime though.

| I own the MANGA my self and have only seen a few episodes of the ANIME but I believe that the MANGA is better mainly because Maelin isn't in it (srry Maelin X Li fans but she just kinda takes the spotlight to much). Also the more cards there are the harder it is to keep up. I know all of the MANGA cards but the ANIME has to many to keep up with. THE MANGA IS MUCH BETTER!

| I read the manga's a while ago then watched the anime recently. I found it quite confusing there were bits that were very similar and others that weren't included. I kept waiting for moments like the bits about her Dad and Eriol which weren't there. I've re-read the manga and although it's great to watch the anime the manga is soooo much better!! |

| I'd actually say that the manga and the anime are quite different from each other. Both told basically the same story, but the order and/or location of many major scenes were changed in the anime, and aside from the inclusion of Meilin and the many, MANY filler cards, Eriol's true intentions, origins, and connections to Fujitaka were never revealed. Both are enjoyable, but I'd take the manga over the anime, because it's more concise AND it has more substance. =Db |
