i was left wondering - what happens when hideki gets all old? Chii, being a persocom won't age, but hideki will because he's human. What will Chii feel then, knowing that her "person just for me" will eventually die. Will she "die" like freya died, because of the pain in her heart?

thats true, im sure chobits arent designed to kill themselves, maybe though.
my idea is by seeing hideki 's personality, before he dies he will reset chi once again so she can start fresh and find a new owner rather than chi live alone and in pain.

ahahahha wouldnt that be funny? seeing a 80 year old man or something still be scared reach down there
