| Yea I like both because the manga is like the most hardcore you gonna get in D.gray-man you know, but the anime does kinda show more depth about the characters in the story like Kanda, oh and it was funny they brought back that stupid robot koumi made LOL!! On wikipedia I read that their were only 26 original episodes of d.gray-man or sum might say it's fillers, but they all were good to me, though that one when they killed off the general was kinda sad......but anywho i like both and i can't wait till the allen and Tiki fight in the anime I'll give it 15 more episodes till it gets to that point. |

| i think that in terms of drawing/art, the anime is much better. however, the manga is nice as well, and gives you the image before you watch the anime, and when you watch it, you get so excited and you can see whats happening more clearly. so basically, the manga is a draft. ![]() i may be wrong, though ![]() |

| ^ Pssh...What?! XO I prefer the manga. ![]() You can go through the story at your own pace, go back in case you missed something, really enjoy and immerse yourself in the art, and listen to your own playlist. The anime isn't that bad either, the second opening song was badass, but I only watch it to get a sense of what type of characters the author was trying to create. | Prideless | Anime's ok... but the manga pwns. It seriously does. It's WAYYY ahead of the anime, and there aren't fillers that drag one chapter into an entire 30 minute episode. >.< Also, it's less corny. Reading "AHHH" is better than hearing Allen's loud, girlish screams. (ref: Tagaoichi arc) |
