yea it is confusing, but i believe the earl killed mana who i believe strongly is the 14th or atleats the old one..., but i believe your trying to say that the earl sword does the opposite of allen's which is kill the noah inside of the person, so if it were true then what would earl's sword do to the noah it wouldn't kill them...i think wait could it make noah's???

Well, I don't think the Earl's sword is necessarily the opposite of Allen's.

Allen's sword is an Innocence weapon that destroys akuma when he uses it to cut them. The reason it destroyed the "Noah" inside of Tiki is because he is also human. So, yes, Allen's sword does destroy the Noah inside of Noahs because they are also human and so it only exorcises the evil bits. I think that Allen simply appropriated the weapon of the enemy because of his close connection with the Earl and akuma.

Also, we've seen people becoming Noahs: They showed us Skin's transformation, and the Earl didn't stab him or anything. The Noah legacy just entered him and he became a Noah. If it were that easy to make Noahs, they wouldn't be so special and the Earl could just make new ones to replace Skin, Jasdebi, etc. They seem to be "born" into it and the power passed on very special.

Although with Tiki Mick, Allen's sword was supposed to destroy the evil bits and presumably did. Then Tiki went insane, but at that point somehow his Noah bits had survived because he changed form into an even more powerful Noah. I guess it was like when Tiki destroyed Allen's Innocence, but it wasn't really gone.

And I can't remember where exactly I got this, but I think the Noahs inherit the original Noah's genes which makes them a Noah. I think it was also mentioned that the Hatred of the Noah was carved onto Skin's genes or something.

And I think it's strongly implied Mana, Allen's adoptive father, not stepfather, is the 14th, who was killed by the Earl. I believe so, but still, it's only implied. But I can't think of anyone else Cross and Allen could be connected to. I wonder who else was on Tyki's list....

I wonder about that moment when the Earl and Cross were together in the ark, and Cross made some comment about controlling the ark, and the Earl was furious and said, "It was you." I think that means that Cross was the one the 14th gave power, and it would fit nicely together then if Mana were the 14th - because Cross told Allen how to control the ark.
