I don't think we have the precision of "the generation after Noah" in D Gray Man because as much as it may be influenced by the Bible, it's not following a Biblical account.

I think that it is entirely possible that Rhode is the oldest in body and of the Noahs (awareness-wise as you say) - and that she chose to remain in that form and just acts childish because she likes to. There have been moments when she showed a different side, and we know that she has immense power - being able to be instrumental in the construction of the new ark. (I can't remember if she was the one doing the transfer or if she helped to build the ark.) I imagine it that way because of another story I read (I think it was Some Place to Be Flying and I know it was by Charles de Lint): In that story, there are twin girls called "the crow girls" and they are very much like Rhode in appearance and behavior. And in that story, the crow girls were in the unformed earth hanging around before Raven popped into existence and then made the world. That's an entirely different mythology, but it has helped me conceptualize Rhode.

I imagine Rhode standing on top of the mountain as the Flood waters receded and when Noah and his family came out, waving and saying, "What's up?"

Heh, I can totally imagine Rhode doing that too. And I believe she was helping with the downloading of the components.

But all good points. I might have to read over a bunch of things and find the hints that tell us where she stands.

It's actually hard to tell whos who by now. So, i guess we have to stick to our own theories, and see if it coincides with the next chapters..

uh yea Rhode is the eldest as stated by skin as he said that only the first born can control the ark or somethin glike that and it was earl and rhode so therefore she is the eldest and earl can't be her real father because as she stated back in the rewinding town that the earl and her are sibilings(crazy to imagine but ok) I really wish they finally tell the info about the 14th though cuz i'm like really realy anxious to know what really happen between allen, mana(14th) and earl. oh and the secret of the akuma as well i wonder wat's that all about...or is the evolution of the akuma a part of the three days of darkness the earl stated he was trying to acomplish again.

Rhode is the eldest of the Noah in her generation.

The Earl is NOT her father.

Is that right?

Yeah, rhode is the eldest in their generation. And the duke is not rhodes father, im guessing that the earls brother/sister is rhodes father/mother..
