I don't think the monkey is an Exorcist on his own. He's been described as an Innocence monster, so I think he's just an ordinary (albeit very intelligent) monkey that Cloud makes into an Innocence with her magic / power. The whip didn't seem to do much, but seemed only a way to goad the monkey on, so I don't know about it being a weapon. Who knows though? It could be.

I don't imagine we'll have much explanation of those two's Innocence since we're focused on Allen right now (and Cross has disappeared).

first of all, this thread is focused on cloud. abd second of all, there are only 2 main types and one exparimental types of weapons; equipment, parisetic, and crystal. the monkey is probally a parisitic equipment type cause pariciptic is only on the body of the exorcist but in this case, its on the monkey but its cloud who is the general. so the monkey must be an order bred monkey that belongs to cloud. after all, nasa sent a monkey to space before if i'm correct so why can't the black order do it if the monkey is capatible with innocence. and the monkey must have liked cloud. so clous must have another weapon.

Well, what you seem to be saying about the monkey is basically what I already said and still believe. So, I'm pretty sure we agree. (See below)

i belive the monkey is parasitic because it said so in one of the newer episode and (i was just wanting to say this) maria cross's innocence is "illegal" in the episodes thats what it said its illegal and at the moment i was thinking WTF really?!

And the reason why Cross' Maria is 'illegal' is because she is a reanimated corpse, and that's essentially profanation of the dead.

You say 'episodes', which I presume means the anime, so I should note: anime can't safely be used to explain the manga because most often different people produce the anime than who did the manga, and anime tend to be simpler and/or different.

The monkey(Lau Jiamin<- name) is Cloud's parasite innocence, not an exorsist. go look up wikipedia... The monkey is one-of-a-kind sentient innocence, which means that it is a being by itself and not attach to her(unlike all other parasitic innocence which are somehow attached to their owners). Cloud's life is still the source behind the monkey's powers, which therefore makes the monkey a parasite innocence.
