|  lmao why am i on this threadt? ok, that gitrl is not misa amane. misa killed herself a year after lights death because she (like other obsessive psychotic girls) couldnt live without light, that girl with the freaky kira cult is not misa. misa is DEAD!.....man good memorys coming back from this manga...read it like 8 months ago XD

It would be artistically wasteful for Ohba and Obata not to have the Madonna of Kira-Worship be Misa, and I have always assumed that that was her. Maybe they say she killed herself in the 'volume thirteen' supplement, but since a lot of mistakes have already been pointed out in that I don't care much. But if it wasn't Misa, the reason they 'zoomed in' is because they drew her in that panel like an extremely traditional portrait of the Holy Virgin, Mary Mother of God. A religious association. Her complete devotion and faith were apparent in every line of her. |

 | i'm not sure if the one worshipping was misa, but i know that either in the movie or the anime [or both] she commited suicide after light's death... i didn't remember that happening in the manga though... there was an extra at the end of the manga with the character's profiles, including their birthdates and dates of death... in misa's profile, there wasn't a d.o.d. listed, so i think she was still alive...
