I actually was pretty sad for Light when he died. Light should've just given up the notebook when he lost and thus lose all his memories of the notebook and it'd be impossible to press charges on him.

Yeah, exactly! When I was reading Death Note in the earlier chapters, I actually supported Light. His first intention was good; he only wanted to kill those who were bad. He didn't even want to rule the world (I think). He just wanted a world full of good and better people.

Suppose if L decided to not interfere with the Light case, I think Light would've reach his goal smoothly and there will be no evil-Light like we know now. After L was investigating the Kira case, Light went berserk and started killing off people who were not a part of his true intention.

we know criminals are bad but are we God to take away their lives??? some criminals take away people's lives but it still isn't fair to kill them...... it is not justice...... criminals don't have time to

hey~

i think that if light would have ruled, it would have made death note a little bit more interesting. i mean, the story could have gone on a lot longer, and maybe it could expand a little bit more on other characters.
BUT... Light got was he deserved (KARMA). his laugh at the end makes me smile every time i hear it. for some reason, i just love it when people go... krazy. XD i just wish that L wouldn't have died. the story for me went downhill.
