Let's say that Misa had never even heard of the Death Note, and that she was merely a famous person in Japan. You've run across a Death Note yourself, and it occurred to you that you must manipulate the crippled Sakura Television program to create contact with the 'superior' Kira.

Please take into consideration:
Sakura Television is weakening in their public stance. Their ratings have dropped to below the adequate (tolerable) amt., and the public views them as nothing more than a televised expression of tabloid-like desperation. The head of this group is a greedy man who is desperate to put himself into a dramatic spot with higher divinities. The emergence of Kira has caught his attention, and he is already convincing his staff to televise shows in relation to Kira. You may take advantage of this.

Assuming that you must relay a live message through a ransomed (or corrupted Sakura Television program, what would you say? As a side note, please consider the reaction of the investigative team while considering a response to this.
Also take this for granted: There is no way anyone can know the location from which you are broadcasting your proposals/statements.

I don't know if it would be a stupid or a wise thing to do, but I would cut off my dialogue with a faked death. That would be something, wouldn't it? Given that there is no way my message could be traced, I would first kill (ugh thats so vulgar but OK) a live criminal according to the method of Light's first experimental kill (Shinjuku street slasher), but with an air of a person with conviction.

...Maybe I'd prattle on about some organization, and a "Thank you!" to Kira for "being present at the time..." I'd use words like "we" and "our next" and "we are now"s.
Then I would fake my own death through the speakers. LOLz! That would definitely throw things off, now, wouldn't it? xD

Could you imagine having more than two killers? There isn't any, but that would really freak people out.
I'd probably die shortly after, but my, wouldn't that put both L and Light in a steam! Light would obviously have already accepted the fact that he was not the only one with possession of the Death Note, but he never would have guessed that so many would have one simultaneously--as Death Notes are only dropped once in a very long while, generally by mistake. He could not try to venture out and meet the multiple users w/o arousing huge suspicion and taking out a huge chunk of time out of his schedule. It would be completely overwhelming, and he'd become frustrated by the leak of 'secrets'--forcing him once again to consider taking risky action.... when they were in fact lies set up by me just to tick him off.

It goes without saying that L would become extremely bamboozled about this, but it would be to his advantage as well--although his range of suspects has been increased to a number that he cannot estimate on his own, it would be much more advantageous in the way that he can now openly monitor Light with conviction, as there is now more opportunity for concrete evidence. He can freely deduce now that the Death Note users have something in common, and that they may be traced by something, rather than undetectable, personal powers.

On top of that, by the faked death, Light would have to speculate that either another 'Kira,' an official, or an ordinary citizen had slain me. Which might, in his mind, indicate some sort of weakness/incompetence/mutiny within my fabricated 'circle' of users. That would make him infuriated as well. He would also have to watch his actions even more carefully than before.

The idea that there is an organization of Death Note users would force him to guess that the Death Note users have some way of finding each other--putting him in danger even in the street. He also doesn't know whether or not some of them (or all of them, for that matter) have Shinigami eyes.

The only solution to remain undetected would be to give up the Death Note, but he cannot do that because he has no anchor (remember, he does not have Misa) to guarantee his return as Kira; it would also be tougher to find a good place to hide it. If he hid it in too secluded a place, he can never hope to stray across that path again. And if he should put it in an obvious place (even his room), there's always a risk that someone would run across it before him: another fool for the 'organization' that doesn't exist at all.

Of course, this would mean that I'm working against Light, which is ludicrous because I've got a Death Note myself.

And it also goes without saying that my entire deduction would be ruined with the possibility that they would choose to ignore my live broadcast--but even this is unlikely. It might also be ruined if they choose to believe that I'm bluffing about the whole 'organization' and 'death' thing, but it would still be confusing, now, wouldn't it? But anyway....

...That's what I would do... for the very least, for fun.

I would do it one of two ways
I could either choose L's side, or Kira's side.

With Kira, I would not attack Sakura TV
but if I had to, I would have Demegawa make a video through using the Death note.
It would broadcast, and I would slip in some hidden interpretations for Kira.

Personally, I wouldnt make contact with Kira that way. My priority would be to eliminate L, and then join Kira.
Because with L out of the way, Kira would be able to make any move he wanted.

However, without even making a video or contacting Kira. Light would eventually notice another Kira long before I killed L (some how). So he would naturally want to join forces.

With L, I would seek to make contact with the Task force, join L give him the Death note and eventually everything would add up quickly to Light's demise.

Light's only advantage against L was his knowledge of the Death note. That was also Near's advantage against Light.

Actually... no.
I didnt think very long on it.

But it did occur to me to kill Kira if I seeked the path of Kira with the Death note.
I would kill Light and become Kira myself.
