You could be right, but what makes perfect sense right now is, the kodou guy in the house with the rest of the people is most definitely not the real Kudou Shinichi. The fake Kodou tried to kill the reporter women just to frame Shinichi. i was also thinking that perhaps the fake Kudou could be makoto-kun (the adopted son of hinohara and who is currently missing). He could be having a grudge on Shinichi because most of the people in the village think that Shinichi had made a deduction mistake. And therefore he disguises himself as Shinichi and frames him as a retribution. Anyway this is jus my theory...

that's basically what i said before, so our theories were the same... and judging by the chapter that just came out, we were right but gawd, how's shinichi-kun gonna get away now
