Wow. So little love for Yuka. No, granted, she is not the most likable character. And she is much better in the anime. But let us not forget that she genuinly loves Kouta. And that is something. And she genuinly loves the girls as well. That means she has some heart. Eventhough she has little understanding of what is going on around her.

Now, I am not shipping Kouta+Yuka, although, when I peer in my magical crytal ball, that is really the only outcome I can see. As much as I have come to like Lucy and love Nyuu, I can't ever Kouta with her(them). In all honesty, I don't want to see them together because then Elfen Lied wouldn't be so tragic.

...I don't necessarily hate Yuka...hell, I don't even dislike her. She's a good person, and if anyone should be disliked in this series, it should be Kakuzawa and his son...they were just heartless little deformed humans.

I think I've already said this before...I definitely like the thought of Lucy and Kouta together more than the thought of Yuka and Kouta together. I can't say whether it's because I grew up in a society where incest is wrong, or because I think Lucy's the greatest character to ever grace the world of manga. XD Either-or, I like Lucy X Kouta better. However...after everyhing she did...the kind of ending where Lucy ends up with Kouta...I hate to deal an absolute, but that kind of ending is impossible. Really, how can you expect Kouta to ever forgive her for what she did? I know I wouldn't be able to...

Hell, if I were Kouta when he remembered how his family died, I probably would've tried to kill Lucy right then and there. I'm suprised Kouta didn't...though that might be because he was just shot.

Also...a bit of info...genetic disabilities don't appear in the children of an incest couple unless it's a second generation of incest couples. The first generation can have completely normal and healthy children, unless the parents already have genetic traits that could be bad for them. So...yeah.

Putting aside the fact they are cousins, it isnt all that bad but half the time u can see from Kouta's point of view its just one sided love Yuka obviously loves Kouta but after all Kouta's been through with Luy and Nyuu he would rather be with Nyuu/Lucy/Kaede (wateva to many names) and i think he should to. Somethings are just meant to be.
