| It's seems to be accepted in Japan (i've heard that). It's a different culture with a different tradition (Religion). Genetically it's different to "brother-sister-love". I'm not an expert at Genetics. But if the results of a cousin pair would be deformed childern (like with brother-sister) I think their tradition would have not accepted this.... I personally "ignore" that they are cousisns. A Japanese woundn't worry to much about it. And if I do this, I won't be able to get the intention of the (Japanese) writer, right? It only a fictional story, so I don't have to freak out....my opinion. |

| There's a definition for this (I'm far to lazy to look it up the actual term) but it basically states that people cannot judge another persons culture based upon their own culture. For example, Americans, all came from European Nations. Back then, it really wasn't that big of a deal for cousins to marry. In fact (if i remember what one of my highschool teachers said), you were considered a h!ck if you didn't marry your cousin (at least amongst the higher class). Anyway, enough with the History lessons. Like you, i'm not really a fan of cousin pairings either (though usually the anime/manga i've seen/read that HAVE cousin pairings...usually have multiple possible pairings so i can usually root for one of the other ones... One that comes to mind is "This Ugly Yet Beautiful World" (which has similar pairings). Anyway...now i'm rambling |
