Concidering how the series ended, I think that this series should have a sequal. Something along the lines of the company that created the original ES project tring to recoup thier losses by tring to recreate the ES project using the scavanged data from the first.

I'm in two minds about it... ^^; I sort of think that it's a great way to wrap it up, but I also think that it should have a sequal... The ending made me cry, though.

I wouldn't mind a sequel if it wasn't too much like the original story. Bur regarding Fuyumi's works there is not much hope for this to have one... Last edited by AkaiTenshi : 02-16-2008 at 03:08 PM. Reason: spelling mistake

Well even though it was a good wrap up I still think there can be a sequel featuring the child of Akiko.............this one was seriously AWESOME for its genre............ Last edited by Charmcaster : 02-18-2008 at 02:17 PM. Reason: Spelling mistake

even though a sequel can be done i doubt it would be as good as this one i think a sequel would take away from this story honestly this was an amazing manga...its pretty twisted but its really deep too it really makes you think about humanity and all the sick little things we do to each other i really enjoyed reading it..of course i was freaked out at some parts but it was well worth it. honestly if this was a novel it would probably become a classic. great great story.

I agree that this is a great manga about human emotions. It tells us what happens when humans have super human abilities. I loved the ending though. It made me really sad but i was happy that atleast mine has ryousuke's child. I'd be happy if they made a sequel

This manga was one of the best out there. Just finished it. It made me think about other mangas i've read, and i can't help but compare it with Death Note for some reason. Why? dont ask to long of a story. WARNING A BIT OF SPOILER! I don't think anyone has given some thought to this, but does anyone seem to be bothered by the fact that Kujo's baby is an ES offspring. I would also like to see a sequel. I'm curious about the kid's development into adulthood. Will he have the same abilities as his "father", and will he live to be 200. And also the woman in Izaku's control, will she too give birth to an ES that might be identical to Akiba-kun, but with Izaku's personality?, or will he chose another path from that of his father's? Will some secret organization, take away Kujo-san's baby away in order to gain perfection once again? There's many ways to start a sequel, but it will take a whole of imagination to top the original, either way this is one of the best intricate stories out there.

But for me it's a good ending but a further exploration of the story to make a sequel will be a thing to look forward to . . . I like Fuyumi Souryo's Style of drawing not to mention she is capable of making interesting stories. More Power to her. | |
