| Toru n Kyo.... It's such a wonderful ending!! ![]() Too bad we don't know what happened to the rest of them.. I mean.. what about Momiji? Won't he be a part of his family again? N how 'bout the rest of hte couples as they grow old?? * Haru n Rin * Hiro n Kisa * Shigure n Akito * Hatori n Mayu * Ayame n Mine * Yuki n Machi * Kureno n Uo-chan * Ricchan n Kagura (?? They seem to grow pretty close, according to Natsuki Takaya, Kagura is pretty close to Ritsu) |

| Furuba Fan | I agree that Fruits Basket is the best manga of all time, but I've found others I've enjoyed just as much. Mangas that Fruits Basket lovers should definitely consider reading: -Ouran High School Host Club -Chobits -DN Angel -Love Hina -Nagasarete Airantou -School Rumble (More of a comdey than romance) They're all amazing and I've enjoyed watching them all...I'd say Ouran High School Host Club and Chobits are the most like Fruits Basket in the Romance/Comedy aspect. Enjoy!

| I cried when I reached the last page of Furuba, but my tears weren't tears of sadness, but tears of joy. I'm happy that Tohru and Kyo ended together. I've never read such a good manga as Furuba. |

| Welcome, do whatever | The manga series was very moving, and was full of emotion. It almost inspired me to become a manga artist! But...really...whos ever heard of a manga artist who was Bangali? So maybe I can make a manga in Bangladesh, eh? Anyways, I'm so happy Kyou and Tooru hooked up at the end! I was a TooruXkyou fan since the beginning. Everything ended well, I'm especially glad that everyones lives improved. No book can be as good as Fruit Basket.

| When I stopped reading Fruit Basket...I felt so sad and yet happy. The ending was so beautiful...So very perfect...But I wanted more.I actually cried in happiness when the Sohmas' sufferings ended...Maybe the reason I loved this series more than any other is because as the characters overcame their hardships and learned life lessons, I too learned about myself and I now think, "Never Give Up!" The series made me laugh out loud...It made me go on the edge of my seat in anticipation...It made me smile and go "aww"...It made me cry...And well, the series was an emotional rollercoaster and I truly loved it nevertheless...There was so much more to this manga than just the Zodiac and the Sohmas...I feel that nothing will ever compare to it...ever...

| I love Fruits Basket. Natsuki Takaya is my idol and not only is Furuba my favorite manga of all time its my favorite story. I just think there are so many things to love about it and a story like Fruits Basket can live on forever. I missed the joy of reading it from the very beggining cause the first volume I was handed was vol. 6 oneday in school so I was an immediate Kyo-Tohru lover. (plus I immediatly thought Yuki and his family a bit strange) But for a story that I didnt know any of the characters it made me cry really hard. And I literally thought 'this is sooo emotional. I love it!' So I got the first volume for christmas and by that time next year I knew the whole story inside out. It's definantely got a special place in my heart But if your looking for another good emotional story that opens up your heart I'd recommend I.S. (not Is). I just started it and its an ongoing story. The first part of it is still really good but you have to go through two other stories before you get to the main one with the main character and through them you still hear the stories of the other characters around them. Its really good but also a lot to take in, I've actually had to take a little break from reading it. And you can read it right here on Mangafox! ![]() Last edited by Kurisuta1 : 07-10-2008 at 12:09 AM. |
