i know what you mean, i loved fruits basket ever since the first time i started reading it. i really don't think that it should have ended, i mean like they should make a sequal to the manga.

I am touched

I don't know if there are words to explain this lonely but warm feeling.

It really is...

THE END.

Well great things can't last for ever. I think Natsuki Takaya paced it perfect and made it just the right length. I hate stories that don't end, really long stories may have a good concept but when they drag on they end up being really bad

And sometimes real short stories are the coolest of all

Default I know how you feel

I finished the manga a long time ago, and I felt pretty much the same way. Its what happens when you finish reading any manga. [SPOILER if you haven't finished the story!] Though I am really happy that Kyo and Tohru got together at the end. It was killing me to see who would end up with who.

Mm, Fruits Basket was the first manga I had ever tried reading, and what made me start liking manga...
I love how Fruits Basket taught me so much about life and kindess, so many morals I can now remember.

It made us laugh, cry tears of either happiness or joy. I was crying tears of Joy at the end. I love the way it ended, and i don't really need "more". You can always go back and read it [as I am doing now as a matter of fact, since I haven't read it in a while]

For Fruits Basket lovers I really recommend Ouran High School Host club. Im actually not sure whether I like fruits basket better or Ouran, but they are both really good.

I finished reading fruits basket last year and i still remember all of the things that happened in it. It left a lasting immpression on me. I found that the past of ssome characters were sad eneough to make one cry if you were in that person's shoes. They picked a wonderful personality for the main character. her friends personalites are beyond funny. Tohru has great friends all around her and the end made me sad im thinking about re-reading the story.

Ah, yes. I've been reading volumes for about a year now (takes me forever to get to a bookstore since I live out in the boonies), and keeping up with new ones for the past few months. And then I found this site the other night and stayed up until four am reading the last four volumes' worth XD Fruits Basket was a really beautiful story, I think. Unrealistic as it was, it said a lot about the human condition and such. Its one of the few mangas that made me cry with virtually every volume. The amount of emotion displayed in it was tremendous and amazing, too. It was truly inspiring. I dont think I'll ever find a manga that's as good as it in the same way.

Well, there's also a manga called Godchild. It's MUCHO darker themed than Fruits Basket (I think at least one person dies in like every volume, but not the main characters), but its got some great insight on life and what being human means. But, once again, the themes are extremely dark. But if your looking for abuse stories....and it has a very happy ending, in a bittersweet kind of way. Dont start on The Cain Saga (the prequel) before you read Godchild. Because The Cain Saga just isn't very good...Or actually, the first two volumes just arent very good.
