|  Theme of Fruits Basket So if you could boil it all down to one phrase, maybe even one word, what would you say the overall meaning of Furuba is. Or just the thing they focus on and make a point about. For me its this: Bonds I think that can explain itself and if you don't get it.... well your at a loss. And no wide-scope ideas like love or anything thank you  |

| For me, it'd be Growing Up, Moving on. Letting go of the things that happened in the past. All the Sohma's characters changed and matured throughout the book.
