Akito was raised as a guy because Ren (her mother) said that it would be a problem if the heir was a woman. Shigure slept with Ren because he loves Akito, who was sleeping with Kureno, and tried to make her jealous but it dosent really work that well

thanks i knew most of it from memory but i got this book the other day its called Fruits Basket Uncovered ,The Secrats of the Sohmas its really usefull you can find it w/ fruba in your bookstore!

if ya need any more help just ask=-)

I've seen that book. I really don't think its any good. It doesnt tell you anything but basic information you already learn from the story and the story can actually tell you more. It not even an official Furuba book. It was made by a bunch of fans who do other manga and put it out self-published I think.
It's not even from Japan

yes but if i forget something you dont have look through a bunch of books to find it. Though i do agree the books give you more info. So if you are looking for something specific look in the books
