Do you think that the members of the zodiac can talk to the animal there possesed by? If so that would be Cool.

I wish I was possesed by the cat then i could turn into a cat.

Shigure said in the first volume when Tohru just found out about them transforming that they can 'communicate with their respective animals.'
but they never really 'talked' back to them in the manga.
but also when ever they are surrouned by their 'respective animal' you can see what the animals are saying to them, like in volume 2 when Kyo gets upset about all the attention Yuki is getting and the cats come by they're saying 'what's wrong?' 'why are you angry?' 'was there a fight?' and such.
and ofcourse the hilarious scene of Kyo's kitty friend on the class trip getting upset over him flirting with Tohru

but you never see what the animals are 'saying' or 'thinking' when someone not in the zodiac is near them, so i think probably the members of the zodiac can understand their signs and if they can talk to them, they just choose not to....

haha. yah,,i think ive read somewhere that they can "communicate" in some way but i did not read a one on one dialogue with the actual animal they were possesed. hmm. have to read again. hehe.

anyway,,i think that would be cool too!! i want to be possesed by the rat..they're every where!! hahaha. by then i would have lots and lots of "friends" to talk to.

i agree.

it's like how cats seem to be attracted to kyo, but they never actually speak to him.

they can only call on their respected animal if they were needed.

they can not speak to the spirit since the manga never indicated it so they couldn't do that.

because the time Tohru's stuff was buried in the mudslide yuki went out with the rats to dig it all up, he must have communicated to them for them to come
